Update March 2018 - SGH Fibre

WEEK 6 ON SITE:

ZONE 1: MARKED IN RED - (OLD AVENUE, EAST ROAD, WARRENERS LANE)

The fibre infrastructure has been installed 95% now complete. Civils Pending on the remaining 5%

Jointers are now working on Phase 1 terminating the fibre cables. This is about 20% complete on Old Avenue. Schedule for completion for the Fibre Jointing is 4weeks (12.04.2018)

Customer lead in check’s, are still on going.

ZONE 2: MARKED IN BLUE – (GRANVILLE ROAD, GRANVILLE CLOSE, CAVENDISH ROAD, WEST ROAD, WOOD LANE, CHESTNUT AVENUE, WHITE KNIGHTS ROAD)

This phase is 90% roped and 10% pending on civils. The fibre infrastructure is 40% complete on this phase. Schedule to complete the cabling is 4weeks with all civils completed in the same time frame. (12.04.2018)

Jointers will start terminating the cables from the 13.04.2018 subject to change.

ZONE 3: MARKED IN GREEN – (OLD AVENUE, LINDEN ROAD, YAFFLE ROAD, BOWATER RIDGE, ABBOTSWOOD DRIVE, GOLF CLUB ROAD, CAMP END ROAD)

This phase is in the process of being rod and roped at this time. 50% of this phase is complete. The fibre cables will start to go in the ground in about 4 weeks. (13.04.2018)

The customer lead in appointments will start to roll out in about 2weeks. (22.04.2018)

The estate office will be informed in due course when to roll out appointments to the residents.

ZONE 4: Estimated End of April start

ZONE 5: Estimated end of May start
